Update 39 - Shorts behavior & Quality of Lifes improvements
Greetings, Hard Chip players!
A special post on a release that wasn't announced but was none less released! Keep it mind this is NOT the conducive gate update. Let's get through it:
1. New Updated block indicator: activable from the Tool menu, you can now visualize indicators where a block changed state.
2. New Validated Steps Indicator: keeping track of the current state of the validation was not as visible as it could be. Now a big counter will show you were you at easily!
3. Update on the Simulation short behavior: it was possible to cheese some puzzle using clever tricks. Not that HC doesn't want player to hack things out, but it draws the line were a behavior wouln't be possible in real life. Gate connections and short behavior have changed to reflect reality better. It is part 1 of a set of 2 modifications.
Previously, this circuit was validated!
And this circuit would have wrong state remaining and improper transistor actuation!
QOL, Bug, and Crash fixes:
1. Camera crash on spacebar fix
2. Drag drop file into the game is deactivated (not supported but crashes)
3. Every file saves are now in the Saves folder, even "Components"
4. The Library from the Main menu shows your components in a new dedicated tab. With edit/delete/duplicate/rename actions.
5. Merge Challenge fix from a regression in the previous release.
6. Add build mode by default in progression levels
7. Right click gets discarded when holding right click longer than 400ms for smoother camera moves
8. Typos fixes
